What brought you to Ten Forward?
What are you looking forward to learning or doing in your new position?
Previously, you were working at a giant software company with thousands of employees. What kind of differences do you anticipate working at a much smaller company like Ten Forward?
It's easy to feel like a cog in a wheel at a big company. I am looking forward to being a more integral part of the team here at Ten Forward.
If you could live in one board game universe, which would it be?
Tokaido! It is based on the historical Tokaido Road in Japan, but the game is really pretty and you get to be a tourist collecting art, buying souvenirs, and eating food. It is very peaceful and mellow.
You have maybe the cutest cats ever (seriously, they wear bowties). Tell us a little about them!
I have 3 cats and they all wear bowties (or normal ties on special occasions). Their names are Percy, Laska and Mister Garak. Percy is super affectionate, but also a big jerk. He's the type of cat who will stare at you while he knocks your stuff off the table. Lassie is a sweetheart and she makes the cutest little meow when you call her name. Mister G is the most cautious of the three, but he loves belly rubs and loves to cuddle. I also have a mutt named Meera. They all coexist, but Meera definitely loves the cats more than they love her.

If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be SALAD! A little bit cheat-y because salads are super versatile, but I love veggies and I make some mean salads!
What's something about you people might find surprising?
I speak Russian! I majored in Russian in college, studied abroad in Russia and Kazakhstan, and worked at the 2014 Sochi Olympics in Russia.
