Atlas Providers launches free digital marketplace for entrepreneurs
Recently, Ten Forward became one of the first tech companies to be featured on Atlas Providers Network, a new digital marketplace partnering with the Wisconsin Technology Council to connect local entrepreneurs and startups with vetted service providers in the area.
We're a company that's invested in and cares about our community, dedicating our time and resources to such organizations as Startup Weekend Madison, Madison Women in Tech, YWeb Career Academy, Madworks Seed Accelerator, Product Tank and more. We also work with many entrepreneurs and emerging companies as clients so Atlas Providers is a natural fit.
To be affiliated with the network, companies have to go through a qualification process, which includes "interviews, reference checks, entrepreneurial givebacks (mentorship, volunteering, free consultations) and evaluation of compensation model (hourly wage, commission-based, etc.)." Companies included on the site range from law firms to tech shops to insurance providers and more (apply here to add yours).
The founders of Atlas Providers are presenting at 1 Million Cups on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd at 9 a.m.. at the Madison Central Library, if you want to learn more.
We're excited to see this kind of collaboration, not only among individual service providers and entrepreneurs, but also on a higher level. By making it easier for people with a variety of ideas and skills to connect, the entrepeneurial foundation of Madison and Wisconsin will continue to strengthen and expand. Let's keep making great things together!
